Friends of Kramer Creek

We have a vision to bring a vibrant, healthy, and native ecosystem to the Kramer Creek Natural Area, located right nearby Nathan Hale High School.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project seeks to restore native habitat and public access to the greenspace surrounding the Kramer Creek riparian zone. By conducting a comprehensive site assessment, designing an accessible and safe space, and replacing invasive plant species with indigenous ones, they plan to create an urban sanctuary that serves to both educate and inspire the community. Through careful planning, the intent for this site is to help improve the overall water quality of the Thornton Creek watershed and provide wildlife habitat that benefits the neighborhood.
