The Future is Solar

Educating youth from BIPOC families in the Duwamish Valley on basic principles of electricity, magnetism, renewable and non-renewable energy, and solar energy.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

In this Duwamish Valley Sustainability Association project, youth learn the basics of electricity by discussing the history of energy, how electricity moves, and the various methods of production and generation. They will then explore different green jobs related to solar energy and its installation, while analyzing the impacts in economics, health and climate change.
