Are you interested in helping Duwamish Valley community members create a safe, accessible pedestrian and bike connection between Corson Ave and S River St.?

For years, Georgetown residents and businesses have advocated for this pathway, which would run between South Seattle College and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) facilities on Corson Ave. This pathway would connect the residential hub of Georgetown with the small businesses, artist studios, transit, and housing in the more industrial area of the neighborhood, and would mean folks would no longer need to walk/bike down the incredibly unsafe corridors of E Marginal Way and S Michigan St.

The Corson-River pathway is a major focus of the Georgetown Open Space & Youth Council, which works to increase access to neighborhood green space and multimodal infrastructure. Please reach out to help us organize in support of this vital safety and accessibility project.
