Ampersand Bikes Club

We create a welcoming space to foster safety and belonging through food and bikes.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Ampersand Bikes Club creates a welcoming space to foster safety and belonging for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (including multi-racial identities) through food and bikes. Ampersand Bikes Club (ABC) originally began as a space for Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian people to gather after the Atlanta spa shootings, but this group has evolved into something greater.

We amplify BIPOC voices and center newer riders, dismantling cultures of intimidation, toxicity, and gatekeeping. Our rides include Ramen Outside, longer training rides, and bike packing adventures; and we encourage all members to contribute, organize, and lead.
