If you have some free time earlier in the day to celebrate your loved one(s), stop by Westlake Park’s Valentine’s Day event from 11am-2pm for a sweet treat and the opportunity to make a floral bouquet or card – free of charge!
In case you missed it: Seattle Parks Foundation and Seattle Parks and Recreation are spearheading the Reimagine Westlake Project, with construction set to start this summer.
Appreciate the work of local artists at the Belltown Art Walk from 6-9pm! Map out your evening or RSVP to join a guided tour (21+).
This event takes place every second Friday of the month and falls on Valentine’s Day this year, making it the perfect activity to end a busy week.
Test out your skating skills at the River City SkatePark! The South Park skate park was designed by the late visionary and founder of Grindline Skateparks, Mark “Monk” Hubbard, a Seattle icon who spent his life opening free skateparks around the country.
The South Park community is in the process of raising funds to make upgrades to the skate park. Visit their project page to learn more about their efforts.

Have some extra love to share? Pay it forward and make a donation towards a park or community project you hold close to your heart! Seattle Parks Foundation has over a hundred active partners with projects that need your support. February is Matching Gift Month, meaning that some employers will give and match donations their employees make to causes they care about.
