Pop-Up Concerts in the Park Return in 2026: Meet the Artists!

We’re thrilled to bring back Pop-Up Concerts in the Park for another summer of free live music in our parks! This year, kick back and enjoy shows with community at Jimi Hendrix Park, Seward Park Amphitheater, Magnuson Park Amphitheater, and Kubota Garden Terrace Overlook–all are welcome!
In July and August, you can catch a free show from 6:30 pm – 8 pm:
- July 8, 2026: Lady A – The Real Lady A at Jimi Hendrix Park
- July 15, 2026: The New Triumph at Seward Park Amphitheater
- July 22, 2026: MANISHA at Magnuson Park Amphitheater
- August 5, 2026: Hard Maybe at Seward Park Amphitheater

Meet The Artists
July 8, 2026: Lady A – The Real Lady A at Jimi Hendrix Park
In the lush and vibrant Pacific Northwest, Lady A ~ The Real Lady A, has carved out a musical legacy that is as enduring as the ancient forests that surround her Seattle home. Often likened to the electrifying Tina Turner and the soulful Chaka Khan, Lady A has been a formidable presence in the music world for over two decades and has become a beloved figure both locally and internationally. Her music, rooted in the deep traditions of blues soul and gospel, resonates with audiences, turning every performance into a joyful and empowering gathering.
Lady A’s impact extends beyond her music. Her contributions to the blues community have not gone unnoticed, with multiple nominations and awards from the Washington Blues Society, including Female Blues Performer and Vocalist of the Year; Best In Blues. And more recently named, 2025 recipient of the 1st Legendary Patti Allen Performer of the Year Award.

July 15, 2026: The New Triumph at Seward Park Amphitheater
The New Triumph is a multigenerational, multiracial ensemble comprised of some of the best musicians in Seattle’s thriving music scene. They draw from these multiple perspectives to provide a unique, energetic, and danceable mix of Afro- Latin, Funk and Jazz.

July 22, 2026: MANISHA at Magnuson Park Amphitheater
Filipina-Indian artist MANISHA writes for lovers of lyrics and overthinkers of love. Much like her multicultural background, her music is a melting pot of influences from jazz and pop to musical theater. At the age of 17, she migrated from Manila, Philippines, to Seattle, Washington, where she had the opportunity to turn her passion for music into a full-time career. She attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she wrote, recorded, and released her debut album Sweet Until The Aftertaste. Since college, MANISHA has moved back to Seattle, playing shows at legendary local venues such as Barboza and The Crocodile. MANISHA aims to create community through her music—one that celebrates the quirky intersectionalities in all of us.
August 5, 2026: Hard Maybe at Seward Park Amphitheater
Hard Maybe is a genre-bending neo soul/funk band hailing from Seattle with a sound described as a “fusion style completely their own.” With three-part vocal harmonies punctuated by horns, they seamlessly blend ingredients from back-beat-driven funk, jazz, soul, and more to create an effortlessly cohesive and rich sound. Hard Maybe released their debut album, “More of the Usual Stuff,” in 2025, receiving airplay on KEXP and landing on the NACC Top 30 chart of several college and community radio stations around the country. Formed in 2017, the band has performed at many of the Pacific Northwest’s biggest events, including Capitol Hill Block Party, Bite of Seattle, Bellingham Exit, and Northwest Folklife Festival.
August 12, 2026: Darrius Willrich Trio at Kubota Garden Terrace Overlook
Darrius Willrich is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and educator from Seattle, WA. He is a Cornish College of the Arts graduate with a degree in jazz piano. He has taught at Seattle Prep, Seattle Central College, North Seattle Continuing Education, JazzEd, Off The Wall Music and Seattle Drum School (Lake City) as a piano and vocal instructor.
Darrius is currently the keyboard player for Digable Planets and Shabazz Palaces. He sings in the Michael Jackson v Prince Band (MVP). He is a featured vocalist on Wiz Khalifa’s “Rolling Papers 2” album on the song “Never Hesitate” and co-produced South African rapper Nasty C’s song “Overpriced Steak” along with Jake One and Sam Wish.

August 19, 2026: Lucia Flores-Wiseman at Magnuson Park Amphitheater
Lucia Flores-Wiseman is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Seattle, Washington, whose music blends indie, folk, soul, jazz, and subtle rock into emotive storytelling and soulful vocals.
Since 2018, she has built a reputation for performances that are both intimate and powerful, inviting listeners into spaces of reflection and connection. Influenced by Brandi Carlile, Amy Winehouse, and Norah Jones, her artistry carries both raw emotional depth and quiet strength.
Lucia gained national attention as the 4th place finalist on Season 27 of The Voice, earning a four-chair turn and joining Team Adam, where her standout performances were widely praised for their originality and soulfulness.
She has shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, performed at festivals across the country, and continues to release music that reflects her voice, vision, and vulnerability. Currently, she is working on her debut EP, a project that promises to further showcase her depth as a songwriter and performer.
