Cheasty North Loop Grand Opening

Join us on Saturday, October 25th as we celebrate the grand opening of the Cheasty North Loop Trail!

Friends of Cheasty Trails and Bike Park, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, the Seattle Housing Authority, Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), and Seattle Parks Foundation (SPF) invite the community to celebrate the new North Loop of the Cheasty Mountain Bike and Pedestrian Trails.

Please join us for a ribbon-cutting and festivities for all ages on October 25, 2025, from 12pm to 2pm. View Point Park, 28th Ave S, in Seattle, WA 98108.

This community-initiated project created Seattle’s first forested mountain biking trails back in 2022. The North Loop Trail opening celebrates the completion of the trails and all that the Friends of Cheasty Trails and Bike Park have built under the guidance of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, with your support!

The free event is an opportunity for the community to come tour the North Loop Trail with trail rides, snacks, music, and giveaways.
