4th Annual Pickleball for All!
By Yordanos Tesfazion
Sounds of pickleballs hitting paddles, lively chatter, and friendly competition could be heard across Downtown Seattle as thousands joined us for our fourth annual Pickleball for All on August 29 and 30, 2026. Over 3,000 community members joined us near the Amazon Spheres to play pickleball, cheer each other on, receive free 1:1 coaching, support local vendors, and more!
There wasn’t a dull moment over the weekend. Over 900 early registrants were welcomed with free pickleball paddles upon arrival courtesy of Kaiser Permanente, who also hosted a Relaxation Lounge for the event. Pickleball for All is designed to be an inclusive event for all players regardless of ability and experience, and with eight temporary ADA-accessible pickleball courts to choose from, participants and spectators were spread across 6th Avenue between Blanchard and Virginia streets for matches, free coaching by Bellevue Pickleball Club, and family-friendly activities like games and face painting. Guests also had the opportunity to play a pro pickleball player from the Seattle Tsunami for a chance to win a Love Parks t-shirt!
We appreciate everyone who helped coordinate one of Seattle Parks Foundation’s biggest events of the year, and special thanks to all the players for spending your weekend with us! Pickleball for All was hosted by Seattle Parks Foundation and the City of Seattle with support from Seattle Metro Pickleball Association, made possible thanks to Presenting Sponsorship from Amazon and our Official Health Care Partner, Kaiser Permanente.
