Olympic Hills Crisis Response Action Plan (OHCRAP)

OHCRAP provides Olympic Hills community ways to connect, share disaster preparedness training, and set up a Hub where neighbors can help neighbors.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are a group of neighbors establishing an Emergency Hub for our community – an organized location in Olympic Hills to gather helpful information and resources for neighbors to assist one another in the event of a major disaster, when communications are down. Through recruiting volunteers, planning and hosting meetings and training, organizing a location and gear for the Hub box, and hosting a Grand Opening and ongoing training by neighbors for neighbors, we aim to create more neighborhood connections that will build the relationships and resources that can be depended on in a disaster.
