Nosotros En Naturaleza

Nosotros En Naturaleza connects Latinx/BIPOC youth to the outdoors by removing barriers to access, fostering belonging, and creating community.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Nosotros En Naturaleza is dedicated to connecting Latinx and BIPOC youth in King County to the transformative power of nature through immersive outdoor experiences. Our mission is to eliminate as many barriers to outdoor exploration as possible, by providing free transportation, gear, food, guided experiences, and mentorship—fostering a sense of belonging and community for individuals like “Nosotros” (us) in outdoor spaces.

We strive to cultivate environmental stewardship, community building, and leadership among young adults (typically ages 18-24) through guided hikes, educational workshops, special outings, and culturally inclusive spaces. By centering the voices and experiences of underserved communities, Nosotros En Naturaleza aims to create a more equitable and inclusive outdoor environment while inspiring and educating the next generation of climate and social justice advocates.
