King County International Airport Community Coalition

KCIACC works for health, climate and environmental justice to uplift impacted communities of airport-adjacent and Duwamish Valley neighborhoods.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

King County International Airport Community Coalition (KCIACC) works for health, climate and environmental justice to preserve the history and uplift the long-standing impacted communities in Allentown-Tukwila, South Park, Georgetown, Beacon Hill and Duwamish Valley Neighborhoods from aviation and environmental racism.

This year as a proud recipient of the Environmental Justice Fund grant from the Office of Sustainability & Environment our coalition plans to lead educational outreach activities across King County to raise awareness for lead exposure, its health risks, and how families can protect themselves. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops, resources, and community events!
