Beacon Food Forest Emergency Hub

Building community resilience through emergency preparedness in the Beacon Hill Neighborhood.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Our team uses the Seattle Emergency Hub model to foster community around emergency preparedness in the Beacon Hill neighborhood near Jefferson Park. We empower our neighbors to care for themselves and each other in a disaster situation through disaster preparedness outreach and community infrastructure.

We intend to build our Hub into a long-lasting, accessible, and inclusive community resource that augments the strengths of our Beacon Food Forest partner organization.
