Love Parks Gala!
Our community showed up in a big way at our Love Parks Gala, held at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) on Friday, September 20, 2024! Thanks to the generosity in the room, we surpassed our fundraising goal, raising over $389,000! These critical funds will power workshops and collaborative events for our community partners, allow us to host panel conversations on climate and equity throughout our public spaces, and enable us to bring even more people together in celebration at our parks and public spaces across the region. We are so grateful to our community for coming together to support our work and mission into the next 25 years.
It was a true delight to share the stories of our award winners: Debbie McNeil, Robert Stephens Jr., and Paige Reischl, celebrating their contributions to our community and shared spaces.
We were also very lucky to have live musical performances by Tomo Nakayama, and NËSTRÄ, Tah-Jae Shanté and Tazz Enrico during our main program – along with Whitney Mongé during our VIP Reception!
