Washington Butterfly Association Habitat Restoration
Join us for a restoration work party at Warren G. Magnuson Park.
Join the Washington Butterfly Association (WBA) for a hands-on work party dedicated to giving the meadow at Magnuson Park’s Kingfisher Basin the care it needs to thrive. We’ll remove invasive plants that crowd out native vegetation, then add pollinator-friendly plants to help create a thriving habitat for butterflies and other essential species. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the tools and guidance. Together, we can help turn this site into a haven for pollinators and a greener space for our whole community to enjoy.
