Springing Forward: Brunch for Black Economic Brilliance

Experience the Central District Community Preservation and Development Authority (CDCPDA) benefit brunch: “Springing Forward: Brunch for Black Economic Brilliance.”

Now in its second year, this annual gathering brings together more than 200 visionaries—professionals, philanthropists, policymakers, and community leaders—united by a shared commitment to advancing Black economic empowerment in Seattle’s Central District and beyond. Anchored in the theme Collaborate. Sustain. Thrive., the brunch creates a dynamic space for meaningful connection, shared learning, and forward-looking action.

The program will highlight current tenants, key partnerships, and community activations, while also providing important updates on the progress of the McKinney Center for Community and Economic Development—and a look ahead at what’s to come for the future of this vital project. Guests will engage directly with CDCPDA staff and board members, as well as tenants of the McKinney Center, a cornerstone community hub driving inclusive economic growth.

In partnership with Amazon’s Black Employee Network, this event moves beyond celebration to the intentional cultivation of Black excellence and long-term community sustainability. Join us for a meaningful experience that goes beyond traditional networking—one rooted in collaboration, resilience, and collective progress. Your presence helps fuel transformative impact and strengthens the foundation for a thriving, equitable future. Be part of the movement. Together, we spring forward—collaborating, sustaining, and thriving.
