Serving the Forest – Seattle Forest Week at Heron’s Nest!
Join us for a restoration work party at West Duwamish Greenbelt: Alaska.
“Serving the Forest” – It is Seattle Forest Week – November 7th – 15th!
In partnership with Seattle Forest Week, this special restoration event will be hosted on Veteran’s Day, by Aloysious – the Heron’s Nest Restoration Lead & AntiWar Veteran. In honoring this ancestral land of the Duwamish Tribe, we will be working to restore the health of this special place located in the West Duwamish Greenbelt Forest. We will meet at the Heron’s Nest to go over tool safety and walk through the greenbelt to our worksite.
