The Tree Equity Network is hosting a series of lunch and learns called Understory, each lasting roughly 30 minutes, with focuses on different tree-equity related topics. These short-and-sweet workshops will serve as bite-sized informational sessions to keep us informed and knowledgeable.
On October 8, join us for a 15-minute crash course in advocating for political and social change with Josh Morris from Birds Connect Seattle. We’ll provide you with a framework for developing your own advocacy campaign, from articulating your vision and setting clear goals, to identifying advocacy targets and power mapping, to choosing the strategies and tactics best fit for your specific situation. We’ll close with an invitation to go deeper: an opportunity for advocacy coaching with Tree Equity Network colleagues.
