MLK Youth Impact Forum at Washington Hall

The MLK Youth Impact Forum is an energizing community gathering designed to uplift youth leadership, creativity, and collective action.

Centered on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this program brings together young people, community leaders, and advocates to explore how justice-driven movements are built, sustained, and carried forward across generations.

The program will feature an engaging panel conversation with Komalpreet Kaur Sahota, KL Shannon, Faisal Provincial, and Maria Abando, along with live youth performance and interactive activities. Together, participants will reflect on the power of grassroots organizing, restorative leadership, and youth-centered solutions. The forum highlights how lived experience, mentorship, cultural identity, and civic engagement can create pathways to opportunity and meaningful change—especially when young people are trusted, supported, and empowered.

This event celebrates youth not only as future leaders, but as present-day change-makers shaping safer, more equitable communities today. Attendees will leave inspired to organize, lead, and take action in ways that honor Dr. King’s vision while addressing current challenges.

Join us for an evening of learning, connection, and celebration as we uplift young voices and invest in the next generation of community leadership.
