Join Bellevue Green & Clean for their first litter cleanup of the year on Monday, January 19th, to coincide with the MLK Day of Service. It will begin from the northeast corner of the Bellevue Home Depot parking lot (120th Ave NE & NE 4th St.) at 9:00 am. We will provide cleanup supplies like litter grabbers, safety vests, bags and gloves. You should dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Coffee, cocoa and snacks will be provided. This event is rain or shine, unless severe weather dictates a cancellation.
The MLK Day of Service is the only federal holiday designated for community volunteering, encouraging Americans to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by serving their communities. We will be cleaning up litter in the Wilburton neighborhood and would love to see as many volunteers as possible. Giving back and making a difference feels great. This is a family-friendly event – children 16 and under are welcome with parent supervision. No pets please.
