Fall Forest Care at Little Brook Natural Area
Join us for a restoration work party at Little Brook Natural Area.
A lot of progress has been made at this site to prepare for a fall planting event, but there are still a couple patches of ivy, and a patch of blackberry that need to be cleared. Mulching will follow to help diminish their return. Help us tackle these last bastions of invasives to keep native plants thriving and a wildlife habitat area looking nice for the neighborhood. Work areas are relatively level and easy to access. If the weather turns to stormy showers or wind, the work party will be rescheduled to a later date.
