August Pop-Up Concerts in the Park Recap

Seven live shows in Seattle’s parks and two months later, our Pop-Up Concerts in the Park series came to an end in August 2025. Over the past few weeks, communities across the city came together and cheered on local talent who showed up and showed out on stage every night.
Check out all that happened this month:
On Wednesday, July 6, Elnah Jordan and Eric Verlinde put on a touching, emotional show at Kubota Garden Terrace Overlook. Prior to their set, The Residency alum Johrdon Allen, with support from Georyne, opened the first Pop-Up Concert in the Park of August.

Two weeks later on Wednesday, August 20, young artists from The Residency had their showcase at Volunteer Park Amphitheater, taking over the stage for the entire evening. Attendees enjoyed free popsicles courtesy of Seattle Pops and had the option to purchase dinner from Taco Cortes’ food truck.

The final show of our Pop-Up Concerts in the Park series took place on Wednesday, August 27 at Waterfront Park (Pier 62). An energetic opening set from The Residency’s Brujia XO set the tone for the evening, followed by our last performance of the summer from The Jaws of Brooklyn.

And just like that —Seattle Park Foundation’s 25th Anniversary year is officially over! Thank you to everyone who supported our first Pop-Up Concerts in the Park series.
This summer was all about community and collaboration. We appreciate those who came out and spent their Wednesday evenings with us, The Residency youth for their amazing opening sets, and our sponsors who made this concert series possible.
Our Pop-Up Concerts in the Park series was generously sponsored by Amazon, Seattle Parks & Recreation, and the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
