Louise Bednarik

Public Grants Administrator

Louise (she/her) is responsible for coordinating the administrative and financial management, reporting, and close out for public grants received by SPF’s partners. She has a background in community development and grant administration. She previously worked at Cook Inlet Lending Center and Anchorage Community Land Trust supporting affordable homeownership and equitable small business development in Anchorage, Alaska as well as administering a COVID-19 relief grant program for small businesses, nonprofits, and artists. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in peace, justice, and human rights from Haverford College. Outside of work, Louise loves to spend time with family and friends, work on an embroidery or sewing project, and get outside–whether walking through her neighborhood or up in the mountains. Originally from Port Townsend, WA, she developed a deep appreciation for parks and public spaces and is passionate about supporting equity in public spaces with Seattle Parks Foundation.
