A Cleaner Alki (ACA) strives to make a difference in our West Seattle neighborhoods and beyond with weekly cleanup opportunities that include trash removal, abandoned encampments, invasive species removal, and what we call Sprucing cleanups, which focus on recovering overgrown infrastructure and creating safer neighborhoods.

Over the past several years, we’ve started partnering with city agencies with their heavy workload queues. Each week, we work with the Seattle Dept. of Transportation (SDOT), Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), the Port of Seattle (POS), and Green Seattle Partnership Forest Stewards on a vast range of projects.

We also offer self-led Block Drop cleanups and facilitate custom cleanups for groups and organizations, large and small.

All of our work shares a common thread — to create cleaner, safer public spaces and a culture of environmental stewardship in the Pacific Northwest, building community through purposeful action and fellowship.
