The Green Seattle Partnership is a collaborative initiative to restore and enhance Seattle’s forested parklands.
Green Seattle Partnership provides people opportunities to deeply connect and care forested parklands across Seattle. Our strength and success lives with our partnerships. Community organizations, professional crews, and City of Seattle staff are joined by Seattle residents, creating a unique, innovative and collaborative model to improve the health of our city’s forests and our community members.
The Partnership was started in 2004 as a ‘back-of-the-napkin’ idea and has grown into a world-recognized program. Our original goals remain true: 1.) Restore and maintain forested parklands and designated natural areas and, 2.) Expand and galvanize an informed, involved and active community around restoration and stewardship.
