Riana (she/her) was born and raised in Seattle, spending many formative moments in our gorgeous parks. She went to Scripps College in Claremont, California, and returned to the PNW to start a career in the nonprofit sector, working for various community-based nonprofits, with equity being a common thread among them. Five years ago, she and her family moved from Ballard to Burien to create a multi-generational household with her husband, two children (now 7 and 10), and both sets of parents – a modern-day Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In her free time Riana enjoys getting out to see live music, spending time with friends and family, taking dance classes, and spending time in nature.
