Join Sirius Astronomy as they stargaze in gorgeous skies near Mt. Rainier!
We will camp from Friday, July 10th – Sunday, July 12th near our beautiful location near Randle, WA with open skies and a view of Mt. Rainier!
During the day we can adventure to Mt. Rainier, lakes, or other nearby activities. Come nightfall, we will point our telescopes and binoculars towards the heavens together!
We will have a few telescope and binoculars others can view through, but if you can, this would be a great opportunity to bring your telescope and/or binoculars. We will also be a resource if you need help with your telescopes.
If you are interested in purchasing a telescope of your own, please let us know if you want any pointers on what to get.
Please register ASAP. Suggested fee is $40 but we can work with you if you need! Also, our campground will have shade from trees as well as running water toilets! Hope you can join us!
This all-ages event is intended for people/families identifying as BIPOC and/or multiracial. We will have other events that are open to our white allies as well. Thank you!
