Have you ever driven by a vacant lot full of weeds and wondered, “Why doesn’t somebody do something with that?” Well, we have a really large piece of land like that in the middle of our neighborhood, and we are doing something with it. We are taking it from an eyesore and to an amenity, a little bit at a time. Our long, unimproved city median is being improved. Right before our eyes.
We are a ragtag bunch of dreamers and doers, working together to improve our neighborhood in Rainier Beach. We plant flowers, trees, and sometimes a few rocks. We believe that fostering natural beauty also builds friendships and a healthy community. We’d love to have you be part of our dream.
