PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Meridian Playground is a busy urban park occupying much of the six acre historic site of the original Home of the Good Shepherd in Wallingford. We hold regular volunteer work parties to remove invasive plants, plant drought-tolerant plants, and care for the heirloom fruit trees as part of general grounds maintenance. Our project will support educational resources and signage, additional picnic tables, and restoration of the historic orchard.
