Shirley (she/her) is passionate about philanthropy and in her role as Major Giving Strategist, connects community members with impactful giving opportunities. Over the course of her 25+ year career, Shirley has raised funds for education, capital projects, international development, and land conservation. She holds a Master’s degree in Social and Public Policy from Georgetown University and Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Utah. Shirley served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa for three years, an experience that forever changed her world vision. In her free time, Shirley enjoys exploring Seattle’s diverse neighborhoods, discovering new parks and trails for running, and sampling the city’s renowned beer and coffee.
