WHAT’s GOOD: The Hillman City Block Party is a free, all-ages, annual summer festival event held every August in the Hillman City business district. This neighborhood celebration, hosted by the Hillman City Neighborhood Association (HCNA), brings together residents, businesses, artists, and community organizations to showcase everything that makes Hillman City shine. From live music and food, to kids’ games and local art, to late-night dance parties, WHAT’S GOOD welcomes everyone to experience the vibrant, joyful energy of this small but mighty neighborhood in South Seattle.
We’re building something great—together. Powered by passionate volunteers, creative collaborations, and energized neighbors, this event is a reflection of Hillman City’s heart: inclusive, intergenerational, and proudly local.
