DESCRIPTION:Join us for a restoration work party at Seward Park. \nCelebrate Latine Conservation Month with a guided bird walk in the park! The walk will follow the outer loop of Seward Park\, the Seward Park Loop Trail – a 2.4-mile paved path. Explore local wildlife\, learn bird identification skills\, and connect with others who share a passion for nature and conservation. This event welcomes birders of all experience levels and offers an opportunity to honor the rich contributions of Latine communities to environmental conservation. A Spanish-language interpreter will be present to support Spanish-speaking participants and help make the experience more accessible. Come enjoy fresh air\, community\, and the beauty of our local birds. 🐦🌿 \n¡Celebra el Mes de la Conservación Latine con una caminata guiada de observación de aves en el parque! La caminata recorrerá el circuito exterior de Seward Park\, el Sendero Seward Park Loop Trail\, un camino pavimentado de 2.4 millas (3.9 km). Explora la vida silvestre local\, aprende habilidades de identificación de aves y conéctate con otras personas que comparten la pasión por la naturaleza y la conservación. Este evento da la bienvenida a observadores de aves de todos los niveles de experiencia y ofrece la oportunidad de honrar las ricas contribuciones de las comunidades Latine a la conservación ambiental. To live in reciprocity means to give back\, to tend\, and to restore what has been lost. Are you in good relations with the land? By stepping into this work\, we have the chance to give back\, repair habitats\, support native wildlife\, and strengthen our connection to the Land. Restoration is our way of returning care to the land that has long sustained us. \nJoin us at Seward Park Audubon Center for Root in Reciprocity: Tend Together. Together\, we’ll be engaging in either the removal and repurpose of introduced species\, plant native flora\, and restore habitats that sustain birds\, pollinators\, and the broader ecosystem. All tools\, guidance\, and materials are provided\, just bring your curiosity\, care\, and willingness to get your hands in the soil. \nRegister
