Improving the condition of planting strips and common public spaces by increasing tree coverage and green spaces that are inviting to everyone.
Friends and Neighbors of Mt. Zion Baptist Church work to raise awareness and rally volunteers to plant trees, bushes and ground cover. They clean common public areas from debris, garbage, blocked gutters and remove graffiti. Installing, maintaining and repairing existing raised planters provides continuity to previous efforts to maintain a welcoming environment.
