Coe Kids Crossing

We want to improve pedestrian safety for everyone, especially our children, through this community-led crosswalk improvement project!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are a group of Queen Anne residents and businesses working to improve crosswalk safety at 7th Avenue West and West McGraw Street, near Coe Elementary School. We have worked with SDOT to design and fund the installation of a concrete curb bulb and install new signage that will be more visible to drivers. This will allow all pedestrians to be more visible and cross more safely!

This project is in keeping with the City’s Vision Zero and Safe Routes to Schools programs to reduce pedestrian accidents and injuries. Let’s make this a safer place for our children, and for everyone!
