Join us for a restoration work party at Discovery Park.
Lizard Haven overlooks the south meadow, Puget Sound and the Olympic range; there’s not a more picturesque restoration site in Seattle. Come help us prepare it for more native plants later this fall. We are looking forward to installing new native perennials, shrubs and trees in the Lizard Haven restoration zone, but we have a little more preparation needed before the site is ready. This will mostly be pulling blackberry sprouts and spreading fresh wood chips over any bare ground.
