Licorice Fern Natural Area
Location: 13002 10th Ave NE (southeast of Jackson Park)Seattle Parks Foundation has entered into a Fiscal Sponsorship with Friends of Licorice Fern Natural Area to help them restore an important section of the largest watershed in Seattle. Friends of Licorice Fern Natural Area Park #1 plan to remove invasive species and encourage native plantings to enhance the nature and wildlife experience of visitors. With this help, Licorice Fern Natural Area will become a natural neighborhood sanctuary and provide educational opportunities around the birds and plants that make it their home.
