Woodland Park Rose Garden
Location: 750 N 50th Street
Seattle Parks Foundation raised over $90,000 to restore three historic architectural elements in the Woodland Park Rose Garden. The private funds donated by individual donors, organizations, and foundations brought one of Seattle's greatest park gems back to its original splendor.
The restored features include two fountains, a reflecting pool, and a dramatic Art Deco 1924 Bas Relief sculpture. The sculpture embellishing the northern wall of the garden was cracked and in desperate need of repair. The park’s fountains were either filled with vegetation or murky water. The fountains and sculpture are now restored and the garden is more beautiful and inviting than ever before!
