Woodland Park Rose Garden
Location: 750 N 50th StreetThe Seattle Parks Foundation raised over $90,000 in private funds from generous donors, organizations, and foundations to restore three historic architectural elements in the Woodland Park Rose Garden, bringing one of Seattle's greatest park gems back to its original splendor. The restored features are two fountains, a reflecting pool, and a dramatic Art Deco 1924 Bas Relief sculpture. The sculpture embellishing the northern wall of the garden was cracked, and would have been doomed to ruin, and the fountains were filled with dirt and flowers or with murky water. Now that the fountains and sculpture are restored, the garden will be more beautiful and inviting to visitors than ever!
