Powell Barnett Park

When Starbuck's was looking to do an extreme park makeover of Powell Barnett Park in Seattle's Central District in 2006, they contacted Seattle Parks Foundation to act as the fiscal sponsor. Their $100,000 donation transformed this public park and playground into a huge community asset, that continues to be enjoyed today.

Seattle Parks Foundation enables large private gifts to be donated to the improvement of public parks and the acquisition of new green spaces. Our solid reputation and partnership with the City of Seattle make the Parks Foundation a safe place for these contributions.
