Denny Park Playground
Location: 100 Dexter Ave NSeattle's first public park now located in the center of the growing urban village of South Lake Union, is being reenvisioned thanks to Friends of Denny Park, a local community group. Seattle Parks Foundation is acting as fiscal sponsor to FODP as they continue fundraising for this wonderful project.
Friends of Denny Park, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Parks Foundation, and the Berger Partnership will improve this neighborhood park in four phases:
Phase 1 - play area and park lighting
Phase 2 - central water feature and gathering space
Phase 3 - walkways, entrances, and furnishings
Phase 4 - history element, irrigation, and planting
