Colonnade Park

Location: Howe St. below Interstate 5

Located directly under Interstate 5, Colonnade Park is an expansive and unique open space with an innovative design - part mountain bike course, part dog park, and part green connection. Seattle Parks Foundation was involved in the project as a fiscal sponsor, facilitating the contribution of a large private gift from REI. REI’s gift was an important piece of a much larger project spearheaded by Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.

The Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance adopted Colonnade Park, donated hundreds of volunteer hours, and raised thousands of dollars to transform this underutilized space into the popular mountain bike connection it is today.
