Seattle Parks Foundation

Dear Seattle Parks Supporter,

I am writing to let you know that Karen Daubert, founding Executive Director of Seattle Parks Foundation, has announced that she will step down from her position this October.

Karen has done an extraordinary job leading Seattle Parks Foundation for nine years, having overseen the completion of 30 park projects and led the organization through the inception, design, fundraising, and construction of our first major project, Lake Union Park.

While we will miss her passion and dedication, we are grateful for her contributions to building a strong Seattle Parks Foundation and wish her the best in her next endeavors.

Going forward, our mission to improve, expand, and create parks and green spaces continues to guide us. Our goals include completing Lake Union Park, working on 2-3 neighborhood park projects a year, implementing the Bands of Green report, and partnering to create a magnificent Central Waterfront.

We now look forward to a new chapter in Seattle Parks Foundation's growth, and we are excited about what the future holds for our city's parks and green spaces.

Sincerely,

Bruce Blume
