Thatcher Bailey

Thatcher Bailey, Executive Director

Thatcher began his tenure at Seattle Parks Foundation in October of 2010. A native of Seattle, he has been a publisher at Bay Press and Copper Canyon Press, and executive director of Centrum. Thatcher has founded and led various community organizations in Seattle and Port Townsend.

Becca Aue

Becca Aue, Policy & Program DirectorBecca manages the Neighborhood Parks, Green Connections and Advocacy programs.  Working with the board and staff, she helps strategically select, implement and steward park, trail and green space projects.  Becca brings more than twelve years experience working in the public, non-profit and consulting sectors with a focus on creating healthy and environmentally sustainable communities. Her expertise lies in project management, government and community relations, coalition-building and policy development. Becca received her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Washington, holds a Bachelor’s of Arts from University of Virginia, and is currently a proud resident of Columbia City.

Lydia Bassett

Lydia Bassett, Development & Communications DirectorLydia has been with Seattle Parks Foundation since 2008. She manages and provides strategic direction for the development and communications teams. Her nonprofit experience has focused on fundraising, public-private partnerships, and public programs, with an emphasis on accessibility to underserved populations.

Jennifer Silva

Jennifer Silva, Senior Development OfficerJennifer is part of the Development team, working to create and implement the strategy for raising funds for our projects, programs, and general operations. Her particular areas of focus include grantwriting, editing, and database management. Jennifer has worked exclusively in the nonprofit sector, and her previous experience includes positions at Duke University, Shelter Network, and the University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer is on the Program Committee for the Puget Sound Grantwriters Association and a member of the Hutch Kids Child Care Center Board of Directors. Out of the office, Jennifer can be found playing soccer, trying a new recipe with her husband, or climbing a jungle gym with her 3-year-old son.

Greta Wilson


Greta Wilson, Development Associate
Greta is part of the Development team, and offers support to the entire staff at Seattle Parks Foundation. She has five years experience working in development in the arts with the Satori Group, a local theatre company. When not in the office Greta spends her days in and around parks and water, and her nights working in the theatre and supporting local art.

Lee Warnecke

Lee Warnecke, Program CoordinatorLee supports Seattle Parks Foundation as a member of the Program team and manages Bench, Tree and Yellow Swing donations. Prior to coming to Seattle Parks Foundation he managed Springfield Farmers’ Market in Oregon and spent time as an Americorps*VISTA building capacity for a community development non-profit. Lee studied Political Science and Latin American Studies at the University of Oregon and has developed a particular interest in the intersection of public spaces, policy, and public health. Lee is an avid Portland Trail Blazers fan and, while his jump shot is lacking, looks forward to pickup games at B.F. Day Playground.
