Parks and Green Spaces Levy

Thank you Seattle for supporting parks!

Seattle Proposition 2, the Parks and Green Spaces Levy, passed with overwhelming support due in large part to the grassroots support for open space, recreation, habitat protection, trails, and vibrant neighborhoods.

With 59% of voters in support, there will now be $146 million available over the next six years for improving existing public parks and securing new green space in our most underserved neighborhoods.

Seattle Parks Foundation played a key role in the success of the parks levy, and we look forward to continued involvement as these funds become available for neighborhood park projects all over the city.
